LinkPOWER's Digital Asset Management solution is an open standards-based security platform to enforce access control and manage digital rights. It uses Digital Seal (Dseal), a cryptography platform which safeguards the security of business communications and transactions by adopting well-proven techniques like strong encryption and digital signatures as well as by supporting unconventional and tailor-made authentication criteria.

 

Dseal server seperates the management of the contents and the access policy of digital asset. Contents of any digital asset to be protected (sealed) are encrypted thus facilitating their delivery through insecure channels. Every time a person reads the sealed asset, he or she must meet the policy specified by the asset owner or any agents on behalf of the owner. Moreover, the owner can even evolve policies over time without the needs of redistributing the sealed asset to target audience.
